my masterpiece

I am not a good baker. Put that with a bad oven & I thought this was going to be a disaster!

I've heard of Cake 2 The Rescue many times but thought 'it can't be as simple as they claim' but yes it is!
What it comes with

Our big box arrived with the parcelman and we opened it up excitedly. I was glad it came with everything except milk, egg & butter as I always worry I don't have the right sized cake tin. Luckily all their kits come with a disposable baking tray! You don't even need to grease it. Just pour in the cake mix, bake, take it out & no washing up or worrying about your cake sticking to the sides!
look at how smooth I got it

My next worry was the fondant. I expected wrinkles or holes or at least some patching up but it turned out fantastic! Thanks to their tips about using baking paper I got the whole thing covered.
the flowerlike middle bit

There were a few technical looking bits but they also turned out well.
my 2 year old rolling

All 3 of my girls 'helped'. The little rolling pin included was used by them all & they cut out all the hearts for the decorations. They were calling it playdoh.
looking pretty good

Just some edible glitter for the final touches, stick in the decorations & candles that are also included & you are ready to party!
time to eat!

My girls (and most kids I know) like to eat the icing off cakes & leave the inside but this was all eaten! Moist & tasty I would never have thought something like this could come from my kitchen!

This cake is the Heart Milestone ($39.95). Would be a great activity to do with the kids for Valentines Day.

Each cake serves between 20-25 & nearly 100 different cake kit designs you are sure to find one that suits your party.
