Apple juice
latte
When we walked in I was a little worried. It looks very upmarket but there was another family finishing up with kids about the same age.
We got taken to a table with a booth on one side and chairs on the other. Great sized tables to spread out.
First we ordered drinks. The girls wanted juice so we picked apple and they loved that they came in a jar to drink out of! (top) Priced at $6 they are very refreshing and freshly made. All coffees were a great price of $3 each (only one size available). Very well made and we drank them pretty quickly so my husband had a second and I tried the hot chocolate ($5, bottom picture) which was delcious, made with koko black chocolate!
Fruit Toast
The main disappointment was that we couldn't have pancakes! They were all out. That's all the kids wanted and my 2 year old kept asking for pancakes until she got a hold of some sausages. Pancakes are $15 and you can choose between banana, blueberry, ricotta or bacon. Instead we went with the fruit toast (above, $5) which were 2 big, crunchy slices of fruit bread that you could smell them toasting throughout the restaurant. My husband and I both went for the classic breakfast (below, $19) which is quite reasonably priced as most around the trendier places in Perth have crept over $20.
Classic breakfast
The classic breakfast consisted of baked beans on toast, sausages, bacon, eggs how you choose, mushrooms and tomato. You can choose between rye, multigrain or white bread. It was presented on a long board and I had to use the panorama option on my phone to get it all in. The only problem with this was my eggs and beans kept falling off, I felt a bit messy. I didn't get to try the sausages as the kids gobbled them up but everything else was well cooked and tasty. I was so full that even after playing at Kings Park I couldn't eat lunch!
Hot Chocolate
The service was very friendly, there are highchairs available and a change table in the disabled bathroom. The bathrooms are very clean.
We didn't make a booking the day we went but not sure you would be able to do the same on the weekends.
