Eat Drink Perth is coming up in March and thought I would share with you some of the family friendly events! Most people think it's all for adults but I have seen that there is plenty for us with a child (or 4) in tow.
At the Margaret River Chocolate Factory on Murray street you can sample some coated goodies with a different one featured each day! Free & all through March.
2nd, 16th & 31st March is the Economic Family Chef Class. Learn how to prepare a tasty two course meal to feed a family of 4 for under $10! $90 and held at Stanley College Northbridge.
Perth Home Grown. Every Sunday during March in Forrest Place you can grab farm fresh vegetables, fruits, free range eggs, honey, nuts, home baked goods, flowers and plants. Plus some yummy food to eat straight away with bacon and egg rolls, crepes and organic smoothies. 10am-3pm 3, 10, 17 and 24th March.
3rd March will be our favourite the Teddy Bears Picnic! Head in at noon with your teddy in tow to the Northbridge Piazza. Bring a picnic or get something while you are there. Open Season showing at 12 and Ratatouille at 4pm. Lots of other fun too!
8th March Cake decorating with Rochelle Adonis. This is a free event at the Perth Library starting at noon. Learn tricks of the trade and tips & advice on cake decorating.
9th March Kids cooking classes 'Easter Treats'. $55 this one will be at Fraser's Restaurant in Kings Park and bookings are essential. If your kids love to be in the kitchen, then let them spend the morning with Rachel McSweeney (2011 Masterchef Contestant) cooking up a storm and preparing some great Easter treats. 10am-12pm.
